I love destination weddings. The excitement of travel and the opportunities to photograph beautiful couples in amazing locations is one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer. When my friends Janiece & Ryan invited me to photograph their destination wedding in Skaneateles, New York, I knew it would be an amazing event for sure - but the whole weekend turned out to be truly one of the most memorable wedding weekends I've experienced. Every detail was perfect... the gorgeous lakeside town provided a flawless backdrop for photos, Janiece and Ryan made an absolutely stunning bride and groom, and there was plenty of fun, celebration, and laughter among friends and family all weekend long. After a lovely ceremony at St. James Episcopal Church, the celebration continued into the night at the Skaneateles Country Club with lots of dancing, some impromptu karaoke, and of course a little Billy Joel! I'm thrilled to have been invited to photograph such a special weekend in Janiece & Ryan's life, and I wish the newlyweds all the best as they start this new chapter of their lives together!
